The story I chose was called, "Privatization of America's Infrastructure." The article was about how many states in the nation are thinking of or have sold infrastructure projects to private investors. The supporters of this idea believe the cost of maintenance expenses will decrease and highway building funds will rise without raising taxes. Although the opposition believes allowing private firms, who depend on stockholders, to hold the nation's valuable assets may not include the public transportation system or people who use it.
This story was mostly likely censored because private firms to own public infrastructure could result in disaster if not properly monitored. As President Eisenhower said when the National Highway System began, "it could change the face of America," and so could privatizing infrastructure.

Wow, first I had no idea Eisenhower said that and second should we the public be involved with the decision making of sell part of our country to firms especislly private firms. The censorship of this article was probably done to ensure secrutity measure for those firms that perchased the land. The government and laws sometimes do not make sense.
